Avevo pensato a "Ösenschraube" o a "Ringschraube", ma non sono sicura che siano davvero i traducenti migliori o esatti.

Si distingue dal golfare a vite, che è invece "Anschraubwirbel". In questo caso penso proprio che Ringschraube - che letteralmente è golfare a occhio cilindrico - possa fare al caso tuo.
