Eine Autorin äußert ihre Gedanken zum Thema "Kinder/Jugend". Ich weiß zwar, was gemeint ist, mir will aber keine schöne Formulierung einfallen. Bin für jeden guten Vorschlag dankbar.

Kontext:

Sarà forse perché ci portiamo dentro il rammarico di un'unica vita che cerchiamo il modo di ripeterla. Ai figli affidiamo anche questo carico, e non ai figli soltanto, ai giovani in genere. Essere quelli che non siamo stati, vivere come avremmo voluto e non abbiamo saputo...
Non si cresce in modo rettilineo, ma con un andamento
a spirale: ci si porta dietro tutto. Chi ha fretta traccia
una retta e **procede a tappe forzate**. L'infanzia prima, poi l'adolescenza, poi la giovinezza: ogni tappa
è un pezzo che si abbandona, per correre di più.

Der Ausdruck "a tappe forzate" bezeichnet ein Fortschreiten, bei dem die einzelnen Etappen so vorgegeben sind, dass sie nur in raschem Tempo zu bewältigen sind.
Das entsprechende Bild hast Du im deutschen Ausdruck "Gewaltmarsch" (beide kommen aus dem militärischen Bereich), der allerdings schwierig in den Satz einzufügen ist.
