Juiz Relator Explanation: RELATOR (transcrevo o verbete do vocabulário jurídico da forense) Do latim relator, designa a pessoa a quem se comete o encargo de relatar ou fazer o relatório. Na linguagem jurídica, o relator é o juiz encarregado de expor, por escrito, perante outros juízes, os fundamentos da questão submetida ao veredicto deles, para que a julguem. A ele, portanto, cabe a relação do feito e, depois que se verifica o julgamento, a do acórdão. A escolha do relator é feita por sorteio, sendo este regulado pelas disposições do Regimento Interno dos Tribunais. Geralmente, é o relator designado: juiz relator. E a ele, também, se atribui o encargo de instituir o feito.
