En España "tomar/rendir" un examen no se usa para nada.
El profesor da o reparte exámenes para los alumnos.
Los alumnos hacen o realizan exámenes que a los pocos días de entregarlos les dicen si han aprobado o suspendido.
No sé si esto es lo que necesitas saber...

Asker: Si utilizo el verbo rendir es correcto en Espana? o se utiliza solo en America latina?

Asker: Vale, me refiero al dia de la licenciatura, al examen final por lo tanto no se si es mas correcto utilizar el verbo hacer, la oracion seria "Visto el resultado del examen final heco/realizado el dia XX de XX de XX, le conferimos la licenciatura en"
