French? 04:03 May 20, 2018
ルブラン is often the katakana version of the French "le blanc". I don't know French, so I cannot guess what シュック may be, but I think if it is a confectionery product, French may be a direction worth look into. Wait, sugar is "sucre" in French, right, is that pronounced like シュック? So this may be "sucre blanc" - white sugar in English? But if it is the French original, I would keep that: "Sucre blanc". It would be nice if a French speaker confirmed it. Maybe post it as a Japanese French question but ask for comments in English. |
