identification value (or personal value) Explanation: Hello Ben, I thought "ユーザーの所属情報" may be possibly the same thing as "ユーザーを特定(識別)するための情報". If so, it would be equal to what we call "識別情報" or else even "個人情報" depending on how it is actually defined. Hence, I may suggest "user's identification value" or "personal value". Something like that, not sure if it's very much applicable in your context. Hope it may help in any way. Pls further consider. |

Current place of study or employment Explanation: 所属 when used in reference to a person typically describes the organization or company that the person studies at, works at, or is affiliated with. In my case, that would be 横浜国立大学, where I am currently a student. Anyways, if this is some field that a user fills out, the closest thing in English would be something like: 1) "Current place of study or employment" (2700+ hits on google) or maybe 2) "Affiliate organization or place of employment" Hope this helps. |

membership information Explanation: Not knowing what this error message gets pulled against, I think this might be one of the safest says to describe what it is. 所属先 could somewhat static, say, a group where a user belongs to within the organization, or could it be dynamic like a virtual "taskgroup" within some kind of workflow. Or, this might be just a membership of whatever.... Often it is written as "failed/unable to retrieve xxx member info" or "xxx membership info". If you were given the key (something like ERR_MSG_FAILED_TO...) as well as this value, it might help you; sometimes the key name indicates the context. |

user information Explanation: Need to look between the words for this one. Literally it means "failed to acquire information associated with the user" - this is wordy. In computerese we just say "user information" or "associated user information" Reference: http://www.google.co.jp/search?hl=en&q=%22failed+to+obtain+u... |
