"transit to the ... status" で、「～ステータスへの移行」と名詞では言うと思うのですが、"... will transit to the ... status."のように動詞で使えるものなのでしょうか？

As a noun, "transit to the ... status" can be said as "～ステータスへの移行."
However, I am not sure that "transit to" can be said as "～に移行する。" , like "The system will transit to the normal status."
In this case, I think "shift" is more suitable expression.

So, I think your hunch is right, in your sentence it is probably better using "shift", or "switch" - I have seen "switch" used for changing the status, too.
Now, once in a while I come across this kind of sentence "the system will transition to normal status", but I would not recommend using "transition" as a verb...

Asker: Sorry for my insufficient explanation. In terms of travel or journey, I know that "transit" is used like "pass." What I wanted to know was whether "transit" can be used as a verb in a situation that a system changes from one status to another.

Rather than using the word "transit", the word "change" could be considered here. It sounds more natural when we talk about "status".
Instead of - "the system will transition to normal status",
how about using - "The status of the system will change to normal"?

ソフトウェア開発の現場では、システムがある状態から別の状態に変わる場合、「移行する」も使われますが、「移行」より「遷移」がよく使われています。
こちらの方が仕様書っぽいです。

「（状態の）遷移」にあたる英語は「shift」、「change」、「（状態が）切り替わる」なら「switch」
状況によっては、「go to」、「enter into」が使われます。

しかし、いずれにせよ「transit」は不適です。
また、「transit」は「pass through」と受け取られかねません。

Asker: 私が見ていた仕様書では同じ意味で使われていたのですが「移行」と「遷移」が混在してありました。 「こういう状態になりますよ。」と説明している文章で「pass through」と解釈されてしまってはまったく反対のことになってしまい大変かつ危険です。 「shift」または「switch」のほうが明確に状態の遷移について表現できるので、この場合は「transit」は使わないことにします。 ありがとうございました。
