Japanese term or phrase: 届け出を行った設備
I am having trouble figuring out this passage, particularly the part about 届け出を行った設備. "[...] or use a notified/reported facility" does not make much sense to me. The document is a safety data sheet concerning a product (hazardous material) and how to treat/dispose of it.

Performed in certified facilities
Explanation:
The processing/handling of dangerous materials must take place in permitted or certified facilities. I think here 届け出 refers to the licence/certification received from safety authorities to handle dangerous goods.

a facility regarding which a notice has been submitted

Explanation:
(Hazardous materials are) to be handled at a facility regarding which a permit has been given or a notice has been submitted (to the authority) to use it as a general hazardous material handling facility (no less than 100kg) or a small lot hazardous material (no less than 20kg but less than 100kg) handling facility.

If it is to handle no less than 100kg of hazardous materials, a permit is required, but if the materials to handle are no less than 20kg but less than 100kg, only a notice is required.

The whole text is about compliance with 消防法, which requires a notice to be submitted to 消防署 to use a facility to handle hazardous materials of no less than 20kg but less than 100kg. 「許可」, which precedes「 届出」, corresponds to 危険物一般取扱所(100kg以上の場合). What's omitted in the text is "as the case may be".
