Explanation:
"sateoku" also means to stop discussing a certain topic and move on to other topics. The speaker/author has been discussing the xx problem until now, but he is either running out of time for further discussion or he just wants to change the subject.

XXの問題は、さておきましても、考え続けてまいります。
See the comma after '問題は'? it does not say "xxの問題はさておきましても". Instead, what it's saying is "As for the xx problem, even though the discussion has to stop here, we will continue examining it."

The whole sentence could be translated like this; We have to stop our discussion on the xx problem here, but we will continue examining it.
