It is confusing. It could be written as "日数の端数は繰り上げて１日とし、この場合の１日も月数に加算する." In short, the "日数の端数" is referring to fractional days (decimal time). I did not read the 日数の端数 that way as a matter of the language. It would be written something like 1ヶ月(30日)に満たない日数は繰り上げて月数に加算する if it was intended to be the "fractions of a month (30 days)." In other words, it would need to be 月数(30日)の端数 to say that. Does your interpretation really fits well in the context? You could translate as you understand if it does. Confusing Japanese writing is not uncommon anyways. I would ask the client. |
