Menstruation leave Explanation: Maybe someone can correct me, but I have never heard of such a category of day-off in the US before. If a woman's period is causing such pain that she needs to take a day off, she would normally just take a sick day. There are several legally protected days off / break times allowed women in the US that address biological differences between the sexes: maternity leave, break time to breast feed, etc., but a specific category for when a woman is in her menstrual cycle doesn't sound familiar. Better write what the document says though, and go with 'Menstruation leave.' Hope this helps. |
