the process (or course) of his/her duties involved in such delegation Explanation: Judging from the entire sentence, I think it roughly means that those who have delegated their authority to somebody else must be responsible for their action taken for such delegation in the course thereof. With regard to “責任を負う” in this context, I think it is better to use “be held responsible for = 責任を負わされる”, instead of “be responsible for”. To be more specific, however, I would like to reduce this rough translation as follows: [1] Anyone who has delegated authority to any third party shall be held responsible for the process (or course) of his/her duties involved (assumed, carried out, discharged, done, fulfilled, or performed) in such delegation. [2] Anyone who has transferred his/her authority to any third party shall be held responsible for the course of his/her duties involved in such transfer. I hope these will be of some help to you. |
