Electric current within the scope of detection Explanation: The 対象 may be included to specify that there may be other 電流 which are not in scope for this 検出。 Given that, I would translate it as "Current in the detection scope" or "Electric current within the scope of detection" to be precise. |

Current of detected (subject) Explanation: It is really hard to say without more context. 検出対象 is the thing being detected. の電流 is the current of that thing, so: Current of detected (fill in the blank) or Current of (fill in the blank) being detected or simply In English, '対象' is most always replaced with the proper noun of the thing the sentence is talking about (this is my own rule of thumb...when I see 対象, I look for what its talking about). I.E. if the sentence is about power tools, brake circuits, whatever, the sentence would be "power tool current" "braking circuit current" , etc. Again, it really depends on the 文脈. Hope this helps. |
