If anyone could shed light on the translation I would greatly appreciate it!

Examples:

表在性浸潤を触れる赤褐色斑と皮疹が多発。

Literal translations like "touching mild infiltration" or "touching superficial infiltration" do not seem right.
Could 触れる here mean something more like "approaching"?

　「浸潤」は言葉ではなかなか説明が難しい用語である．「菌
状息肉症の紅斑期の皮疹は浸潤を触れる紅斑である」など
と表現する．斑とは，元来は視診で使用する用語であり，
定義としては隆起も陥凹もせず，色の変化としてのみ認識
できる皮疹である．つまり逆にいえば，目をつぶって触る
と認識できない皮疹が斑である．しかし，目をつぶって軽
く指腹を皮膚に当て，正常部分から斑にかけて注意深く動
かしていくと，わずかな皮膚の硬さの変化を感じることが
できる．これが「浸潤」である．わずかな表皮肥厚，表皮
内・表皮下の細胞浸潤，もしくは表皮下の浮腫であること
から，病理学的所見に迫る重要な所見である
