入床操作 can be used with patients confined to their bed Explanation: Are these written together without a space as 入床操作? I think 入床 is simplified writing of 臥床 'confined to bed', which is the antonym of 離床'out-of-bed'. Taken together then, perhaps the equipment in question can be used while the patient is 'in bed'? 入床操作 "can be used on patient while patient is confined to bed" (as opposed to standing or sitting.) Or maybe this doesn't make sense in the context? See references. Reference: http://detail.chiebukuro.yahoo.co.jp/qa/question_detail/q136... Reference: http://qa.gree.net/forum/question/10647612 |

procedure for bed entry Explanation: In the absence of more context I would go with something like 'process/operation/procedure for bed entry/admission' I am assuming that this is the procedure used when the is first put in bed as opposed to the normal running of the monitor when the patient is in bed (臥床/就床) and hooked up.
