Japanese term or phrase:

In the above sentence I am not understanding where to put 薬剤誘起性肝障害を引き起こすこと.
My translation is as below.

In this research, in the past, we aimed at reviewing a hypothesis which said covalent binding of reactive metabolite protein and thus hepatotoxicity expression can be fixed by maintaining the balance with detoxification capability by glutathione conjugation through reactive metabolite production quantity and GST. This hypothesis was achieved by finding covalent binding of human liver microsome protein of reactive metabolite and genetic type relationship of GSTM1 and GSTT1 using [14C] labeled acetaminophen and txoglitazone which are known compounds, causing drug induced liver injury.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

English translation:[compounds which are known] to cause drug-induced liver injury
Explanation:
You need to take 薬剤誘起性肝障害を引き起こすことが with 既知な化合物であるacetaminophenとtxoglitazone.

「X (verb)することが既知なY (noun) 」= 「X (verb)することが既に知られているY (noun)」

So acetaminophen and troglitazone are not exactly ‘known compounds which cause ~’ but ‘compounds which are known to cause ~’.

I assume that txoglitazone is a typo for troglitazone.

So my proposed translation of the relevant section (薬剤誘起性肝障害を引き起こすことが既知な化合物であるacetaminophenとtxoglitazoneの[14^]標識体を用いて) is as follows:

“by using labelled acetaminophen and troglitazone[14^], compounds which are known to cause drug-induced liver injury,”

I’m not going to comment on the rest of the paragraph as I’m not a specialist.
