Looking for ー液攪拌. Does it mean "one stir"?

English translation:....agitate one reaction solution (and then)...
Explanation:
Since this is only a small part of a sentence, I tend to think that it could be about “agitating” one reaction solution. Then, perhaps another solution or other ingredients are added?....

The word “agitate” is frequently used with reference to “stirring” pharmaceutical liquids…(I've put some examples below).

overnight

Explanation:
According to my opinion, and as compared to many many similar texts, there was a simple typo:
"the reaction mixture (or liquid, solution) was agitated (or stirred) overnight"

Instead of the the kanji for night 夜
that of 液 was used

neutral  Joyce A: Hi, there. This looks plausible. The problem I have is that to get this kanji converted to "ー夜" the romaji typed in is "i-chi-ya".It just doesn't work with "ー液." / Hi again. Yes,but "ー夜" would only be from entering ichi-ya, hito-yo or hito-ya. Not ichi-yo.

-> Dear Joyce, you are right, this is not the typical error using "wa-pro", ichi-ya or hito-yo cannot produce "ichi-eki". I guess the kanji was simply copied and pasted and not generated by word processor. Regards borha. Pls forget my direct answer, error.

agree  biofilter3: This must be a typo on the source.

-> Sure but, just like Joyce, I cannot explain the reason

disagree  seika: No, it's not a typo. I believe it means agitating one (not mixed) solution.

-> Hi, I do not insist of course, you are native and I am not. I simply wanted to suggest that in preparative chemistry this part of sentence is very frequent: reaction solutions are often stirred for a day to complete reaction. What do you suggest instead?

agree  Steven Smith: Makes more sense than any of the other answers so far

-> Thanks Steven. Apparently, Seika san did not spent as many nights in laboratory stirring her reaction vessel as I had to :)
