Japanese to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical: Pharmaceuticals
Japanese term or phrase: 投与状況
Does anyone have a good English translation for this? I always have something really wordy like, "situation surrounding administration."

本薬物の投与状況として、投与開始日時、投与終了日時、投与速度、投与量などを調査した。

What do you call it? I want something concise that I can use as a table header, too.... よろしくお願いいたします!

I like this one! Thank you. I think I am going to say "administration conditions" though (same thing really...I just feel weird about using the word "dosing" for humans).

treatment compliance/medication adherence

Explanation:
For clinical trials either of the above is probably okay, though I think treatment compliance is better.

Asker: I thought about this too (treatment compliance), but it doesnt seem right in this situation, because the 投与状況 factors that are being investigated are including things like "administration rate." Also, I didnt include it in the example sentence I provided, but the original sentence also included "administration method" and "reasons for dose modifications"...Those don't appear to be related to treatment compliance...

Would "regimen" be suitable?

A bit wordy but how does "dosing and administration schedule" fit?

Notes to answerer
Asker: The issue I have with "administration status" is that factors such as "administration rate" don't seem to be covered by that. Also, when someone says "administration status" I think "whether or not administration has been done"...

Asker: Interesting...regimen almost would work...except I am using that for "用法・用量" ... In the meantime I've called it "variables related to administration." I still dont like that though.

Another thought I had was whether "dose parameters" would work in your context?
