This is a disease some pigs had in Taiwan, but I have no idea what it is, except the literal "Mouth-Hoof Plague." If anyone knows what this is I'd appreciate the help. Also, if anyone can recommend a GOOD online Japanese-English dictionary, I'd appreciate that info too. Thanks.

Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD), also called, Aphthosis, Hoof-and-Mouth disease, Aphtous fever
Explanation:
Seems like Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) is the most common name for this disease; however it is also called in different names such as Aphthosis, Hoof-and-Mouth disease, Aphtous fever, etc.
Japanese name, 口蹄疫 is prounounced "Kou-tei-eki."

Detailed description of this disease can be found at <http://www.nwpg.org.za/NW/DoACE/Food-and-Mouth disease.htm&g...

As for a good Japanese-English dictionary, I find the following site most useful: "Jim Breen's WWWJDIC Japanese-English Dictionary Server"

If not too technical, "L&H Online Translations"
<http://officeupdate.lhsl.com> is also useful.

Hope this helps!

Foot-and-mouth disease

Explanation:
I believe this is the answer although I can't read the second kanji on my computer. It might be pronounced kousekieki in Japanese. It is a viral disease of cloven-hoofed animals.
