De-Burring Explanation: バリ = burrs -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 8 mins (2009-10-26 05:45:30 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- "De-Burring after Stamping" パンチプレス加工 = Stamping または Stamping Press -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 9 hrs (2009-10-26 15:35:12 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Some people do call this process simply "burring", thinking that nobody in their right mind would actually MAKE burrs deliberately, but this is not the case. In some tight tolerances, the dies/molds are DESIGNED to create more flash or burrs, in order to have enough thickness for a trimming machine to take them off cleanly. Hence, the proper term for removing burrs is "de-burring". |
