The Sun Goddess?


Explanation:
It's been awfully long since I did anything with the mythology of Japan, but it would appear from the mention of Amaterasu Oomikami in the parentheses after the kana that this is another name for the Sun Goddess. You might want to look in Don Phillipi's translation of the Kojiki to see if you can find the exact name there as one of the variations on Amaterasu's name.

Sorry, I wasn't looking carefully. The kana gives two names of gods, and the second one is the Sun Goddess. The subsequent kanji are names of yet other gods which I don't have time to track down.
