finish/finishing / preparation Explanation: While "tailor" is a common use of this word, obviously for your context, 'tailor' is not appropriate for 仕立. Think about the nuance. It means to 'finish' a suit in the textile sense. So in your case it just means the final 'finish' or 'preparation' See ALC (url below) to give you better sense of the nuance of the word.
