process claim Explanation: For example, Claim 1 states: A process for producing xxx, characterized in that said process comprises the steps of xxxx. then, Claim 2 may state: A xxx (product) prepared by the process according to Claim 1. In the case above, the invention as defined in Claim 2 includes the invention of Claim 1, i.e., process claim.
