Japanese term or phrase: 「もうX日とは」＋「お出でになりはしない」

I'm putting my last touches on a translation of 鈴木三重吉's short story 「たそがれ」, and there's one part that I just can't seem to parse. The narrator is talking to a lover who will be leaving her soon, and asks why he hasn't told her anything about leaving yet. She follows up the question with,

「どちらにしてももう五日とはここにはお出でになりはしないでしょう？」

I'm fairly sure she's said it doesn't matter because he won't be here in five days...

Oor is she saying he won't be by the fifth?
Or maybe is she saying he will only have been there five days (once he's gone)?

I feel like it'd be obvious what the answer is to someone of better Japanese ability than me, but the double meaning of 五日 and the triple meaning of お出でになる (plus the ～はしない form I've never gotten a good grasp on) are all leaving me uncertain.

You could rewrite this for example as "You'll be gone within five days anyway" or something similar.
