Japanese term or phrase: 旬刊○○新聞
Some papers are published every 10 days, and will be called something like 旬刊○○新聞.

Is there an elegant way of saying 旬刊 in one word, as one would call 週刊 a "weekly"?

That is an interesting solution. Makes perfect sense etymologically too.

published every 10 days / trimonthly

Explanation:
It seems to be a common thing to do in Korea as well. Unfortunately, I think it is usually just "published every 10 days"

See the first link below.

Alternatively, you could say "three times a month" or "trimonthly".

See the second link below.

Example sentence(s):
  • The Hanseong Sunbo, which was printed every ten days and was written in classical Chinese...
  • Korean Society for Laboratory Medicine.., published trimonthly...in English or in Korean with an English abstract.

agree  JapanLegal: I think this is as good as it's going to get. I don't believe we have a noun like "weekly" that refers to a trimonthly publication.

  -> Thanks. I think it is just not common for something to occur in that interval.

agree  CX159: I think published every 10 days is fine but trimonthly can actually mean quarterly or once every 3 months if I'm not mistaken.

neutral  Allyson Sigman: Hmm...I have never heard of this. I think "fortnight" is more common in Australia and the UK than in the US. Use of this word would have to depend on your audience.

  -> Thank you for your comment. Actually, I guess it is quite difficult to say it in one word. I agree with "three times a month". By the way, my dictionaries say that "trimonthly" means "quarterly" or "seasonally"...
