Japanese term or phrase: 内部のブレード間で冗長性を持たせる
I am in big trouble. I can't even begin to imagine what the following sentence means. It is SAP related.
Here is the sentence:
BWAには、内部のブレード間で冗長性を持たせることができるSW機能が備わっておりますが、HWベンダー様の技術により二つのBWA(筐体)同士でも冗長性もたせることが可能になります。
Here is my crude attempt (I have no idea what it means):
The Business Warehouse Accelerator (BWA) is equipped with a SW function that allows to redundancy be applied between internal blades. In addition, thanks to an inovative technology implemented by a HW vendor, it is possible to make redundancy between two BWAs themselves.
Help Please. Blades? 冗長性? ちんぷんかんぷん

Providing internal redundancy between the blades
Explanation:
This is talking about redundancy (冗長性) in a server system. For an explanation of blade servers, see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blade_server .
Extrapolating from the content of the sentence, the "BWA" consists of a rack of blade servers that offer software-based redundancy - that is to say, if one blade fails, another will transparently take over its function with no or minimal loss of service.

Additionally, two whole racks can be connected (possibly with a hardware rather than software based solution) so that if one whole system fails, another will take over automatically. This is a standard configuration for highly-available systems, often with the two parts placed in different locations and connected with a high-speed network.
