temporarily and transitionally Explanation: There is a difference in meaning between "transitory" and "transitional." (Please see) 過渡的 means transitionally. 1) “Transitory” is defined as “lasting a very short time.” 2) “Transitional” is defined as “of or relating to or characterized by transition.” (changing from old to new, etc.) 3) “Transition” is defined as “the act of passing from one state or place to the next” or “a change from one place or state or subject or stage to another.” (Changing from one state to another.) - 一時的 is defined as temporary - 過渡期 is defined as a transition period, a period of transition - 過と時代 is defined as a transition period (All from Nelson’s Japanese Character Dictionary) |
