Kurt--Sorry, I haven¥'t checked your further question. I even don¥'t know why ¥"本卦還り¥" has to be used here. The only clue that I may be able to find is to going back to the state of perfectionism/paternalism, which might be regarded as going back to the original situation. So, I agree to using a similar metaphor, but ¥"本卦還り¥" may be more related to going back to the ¥"original¥" state. I guess that such an original state may not have to be the stone age.
