one's elder, one's superior officer, boss Explanation: If the 'kanji' for 'joucho' is indeed '上長', then the meaning of that word as it is in the dictionary would be as above. However, I do not know if the word has any specific meaning when used in the field of computer screen design. I doubt that it does, becasuse it is a very old fashioned Japanese word. |
