a picture window, a window that cannot be opened. Explanation: There are many types of windows. Picture windows are parmanently fixed windows that you cannnot open or close. Japanses for Fixed or Picture window is: 固定窓、ピクチャ窓 Casement windows swing open and close sideway. In Japanese: 開き窓、観音開きの窓 Awning windows swing open and close upward.
