Japanese term or phrase: gensui
This comes from a text about a water purification system called, "USEN," I think. "Gensui" has the same kanji as "gensuibaku" (atom and hydrogen bombs). The word appears in the phrase: yousui (rainwater) ni ryokona kankyou o atae gensui o kassei mizu he to kaete iku no desu. I'm not sure what "kassei mizu" is either...kassei appears in the dictionary as "activated, active (oxygen)" but I can't find the word kassei with the kanji for water attached. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

English translation:untreated water
Explanation:
In the given context I suppose you are dealing with the concept of "untreated (source) water", referring to the water before it passes through the system as compared to the "purified, or activated (might have been added some ions etc.) water after passing through the system. Don't get confused about the term "kassei". The Japanese have a habit of using this term for a variety of things, mostly in the sense of "processed".
Hope, this will help you.
