thread fray prevention machine (function) Explanation: I couldn't find very many references to anything called a ほつれ止機. But I wonder if this isn't an abbreviation or something having to do with ぼつれ防止機能 or something along those lines. If you put "thread fray prevention sewing" into Google, you will find a variety of hits describing this function of a sewing machine. ぼつれ means "fray", "snag", "unravel", etc., so I am pretty sure this must be related to such a function. You can find many references to ほつれ防止 in Google, and if many of them are related to 縫製, a.k.a having to do with sewing. So my money is on thread fray prevention function. What do you think? |
