The second character here is one I've never seen before and had a lot of difficulty even finding the reading (it's 金 + 予 in case you can't read it).
the phrase in question is: "製造された生地からは糸を 解𨥤する ことができない"
The same kanji comes up a few times in this patent so it is not a typo unfortunately.
The patent describes a circular knitting method.
My guess is "unravel" or "remove" but I wonder if anyone has seen this expression before or can give me a hint as to the meaning of the character.

I found a character that is somehow similar to the one you are looking for in 漢字源 in my electronic dictionary (I used the 手書き function, and this one was the only one that was more or less close to the character you are looking for): 舒、ジョ・ショ／のびる、のべる、のばす、ゆるい。(Actually, "shu" is it's reading in Chinese.)
I also managed to find one 熟語containing this character, and it's meaning is similar to those you've suggested.

Explanation:
I too suspect it is a character recognition issue, as I cannot locate 𨥤 in 「漢字源」, which is a very rare occurrence!
At first, I thought 紓 might be the correct kanji, but 舒 resembles your mystery kanji more closely, and 解舒 かいじょ can be found by an easy search. Moreover, both 紓 and 舒 echo the connotation of 解→ほぐす, so it would seem to fit...

I could find 𨥤 online in several places but none of them provide me any meaning of it. Then I tried to seek in Chinease dictionary site and finally found this.

It says that 𨥤 is a transformed version of 舒. And 解舒 is the very word to express to unravel the silk thread from the cocoon.
