agree  Gintautas Kaminskas: Agree, but in UK English the abbreviation Mr is not followed by a "full stop" („taškas“). Also, maybe "I thank the Chair and Committee members ..." if it's not certain that it's a male.

  -> Yes re the full stop. "Pone" is the male form. I also prefer "Chair" and different structure. But source isn't punctuated correctly. Chair is being thanked (for the floor) and the honourable members are being (merely) addressed to open the speech.
