course goal

Explanation:
You are not providing much context here, so this is more of a wild guess. Kurs is training course or just course; mål is goal or target. Just to show the potential for error, kurs could also be a steered course, as in compass heading, while mål could be measure - as in degrees or radians.

In a financial setting (I couldn't even see this when answering - howzat for an out-of-context guess) kurs could also be rate of exchange, or stock price. Malberg could therefore be spot on with target stock price.

agree  Hokianga: Thankyou very much. Have just joined ProZ and I need to learn the ropes obviously :-). Next time I will certainly provide more context. Your answer gives me a good idea of how this word kursmål is built up. How do you award ProZ points?

agree  Hokianga: thankyou. As Per Bergvall pointed out, I didn't provide much context. I should have said this has to do with analysts' recommendations for a particular company's stock, so it was on the mark alright.

agree  Charlesp: in the context.
