core/basic operations Explanation: Just a guess. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 41 mins (2007-10-03 07:32:54 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- My understanding is that the IT company might provide basic IT operations such as a Windows platform, virus protection, an office package and internet connection with firewall. Applications such as Trados, Indesign etc. would have to be provided by the client. So, to answer your question, in my (albeit limited) experience it is fine to say that the IT company provides 'basic operations' |
