Norwegian to English translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Law (general) / criminal court
Norwegian term or phrase: påtegning
Endorsement is the term I find here, but it doesn't quite feel right to me.
Any suggestions?
I påtegning den 01.01.2011 anmodet ØKOKRIM om at det avsies kjennelse...
Ved påtegning av 01.01.2011 har Vestfold politidistrikt framsatt begjæring...
Statsadvokaten imøtegikk anken i påtegning 01.01.2011...

I get "endorsement" and "notation" as translations, but this seems to be a specific type of court document or statement.
Straffeprosessloven § 27: Documents produced in court shall be "endorsed" to show that they have been so produced.

Some Norwegian dictionaries give 'signature' as English translation.
But, I believe, 'proof' is more suitable.

marking as a signed-off exhibit

Explanation:
In The UK, docs. need to be marked and signed off to be 'admitted as an exhibit' > in the US 'added to the record'.

Etter å ha tenkte litt mer på skaen, ser jeg at dette må bli det riktige engelske uttrykket for denne bruken av påtegning. Se det jeg har skrevet under diskusjon.
