The person making the skin/hide Explanation: Skinnfell= The skin/hide (like a skin from a bear/seal/sheep or so) Fell is a skin/hide that you can lay on in front of the open fire in the living room, very nice on cold Norwegian Winter evenings....... furrier Explanation: Furrier would probably be the closest term, i.e. the person who prepares the fur, a maker of furs. The Norwegian term "skinnfell" is another term for the Norwegian word "pels", but both words usually mean "fur" in English. (Be aware though, that "pels" usually refers to a finished product, as in clothing, whereas "skinnfell" normally is of the coarser, unfinished variety and usually not a garment.)
