Norwegian to English translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Real Estate
Norwegian term or phrase: sammenføyning
As in: "Sammenføyning av eiendom(er) er en registrering hos tinglysingsmyndigheten, der to eller flere eiendommer blir slått sammen til én i matrikkelen."

So far I've only thought of "conjoining". A search for antonyms of the real estate term "subdivide" has come up dry so far. I'm sure there's an appropriate term lurking in the 1657 pages of my Black's Law Dictionary, but I need a place to start looking ...

amalgamation

Explanation:
From Stor norsk-engelsk juridisk ordbok, Ronald L. Craig, under sammenføyning:

When two parcels of land are united so as to form one unit for purposes of land registration and/or sale, the term 'amalgamation of holdings' is used.
