scissor (suspension) design Explanation: Scissor suspension https://images.patentswarm.com/US7568675B2/original.ddfc86c7... https://patentswarm.com/patents/US7568675B2 There are a handful of seat manufacturers that most of the forest industries are collaborating with, but the undercarriage principle for suspension and height adjustment used is mostly the same, indifferent of manufacturer. The “scissor” principle is the most widely used. See Figure 1, The principle for the scissor design. http://www.diva-portal.org/smash/get/diva2:697575/FULLTEXT01... |

scissor mechanism Explanation: I suspect the original text deals with scissor lifting platforms or lifts, although the term maszyny roboczej and the lack of further context make me a bit unsure about that. This link goes into some details about the scissor mechanism: https://bit.ly/3cQMM22 There is a Wikipedia link about this mechanism: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scissors_mechanism ("scissor mechanism" and "scissors mechanism" are both fine.) In the link https://www.theseus.fi/bitstream/handle/10024/113124/Olenin_... it says: "The scissors elevator is an elevator with a system of levers and hydraulic cylinders on which the metal platform is capable of moving in the vertical plane. This is achieved by using of linked, folding supports in a crisscross pattern, called scissor mechanism." In the link https://www.globalspec.com/learnmore/material_handling_packa... it describes it as a collapsible mechanism: "A scissor lift relies upon the elongation of a collapsile mechanism to provide vertical elevation in ratio to a rotational or linear input. These devices are widely utilized and are capable of lifting significant loads safely and efficiently." Here is another link on the topic: https://www.bigrentz.com/blog/how-does-a-scissor-lift-work |
