Dekret dekretowi nierowny Explanation: The fact that "dekret" is a "decree" and a decree is synonymous with "ordinance" does not mean that "dekret" AS AN ACCOUNTING TERM is an ordinance (=rozporzadzenie)! So, to quote one of my predecessors, "since there is an obvious difference between 'book' and 'ordinance'," I suggest we scrap this humorous inference... See also the dictionary (suggested to me by our colleague M. Frost) referred to below for the definition of "dekretacja," which they translate as "decree" (but not "ordinance"!) Also, the original question regarded the action of "stornowanie DEKRETOW" and not carrying out a "storno" itself, which, obviously, is a cross entry.
