its the main control board, what also happens to those boards, is that relays fail, they start to stick and cause short circuits that will cause the breaker to pop.

The max amperage that uses should be lower than the breaker. Turn off the breaker and check to make sure that no other plugs / lighting is on that breaker as anything plugged into those can cause the breaker to pop.

OK, so using the AC could cause the breaker to pop? It did pop again last night but I'm not sure if it was while the AC was on or not.

I've had the breaker pop when I've had the AC on AND the hot water heater on electric at the same time. Sometimes it will happen and sometimes it won't. Sure to happen if I turn on the AC and then turn the hot water heater on for the first time. Once it gets up to temperature and starts to cycle, the breaker may or may not pop.

My breaker kept popping intermittently on the converter. It turned out that the converter was failing. After I replaced the converter I never had the breaker pop off.
