Proces ten polega na gromadzeniu szczątków organicznych w trw ale beztlenowych w arunkach środowiska silnie wilgotnego bądź też wodnego. Hydrofilna roślinność bagienna w ystępująca na tych glebach nie sprzyja na ogół w ytw arzaniu zwartej darni, lecz często w ystępuje kępami lub tworzy pływające kożuchy. W klasie tej wydzielono dw a typy gleb: 1. Gleby mułowe. 2. Gleby torfowe. Class V HI BOG SOILS This is a soil class, w hich comprises the soils with a marked peat-forming process. This process consists in accumulation of organic residues in perm anent anaerobic conditions of a strongly humid environment or of water environm ent. Hydrophilous bog vegetation developing on these soils is not favourable, as a rule, to the form ation of a compact sod and it is growing in the form of clusters of plants or as floating plant ’’patches”.
