generalized hypermobility/laxity (syndrome) Explanation: . Do grupy chorób, w których wiotkość więzadłowo-stawowa jest jednym z głównych objawów należą m.in. choroby rzadkie, takie jak zespół Ehlersa-Danlosa (wiotkość uogólniona), zespół Larsena czy wrodzona łamliwość kości (osteogenesis imperfecta), ale także zespół Marfana czy zespół Downa. http://www.ptreh2019.pl/X_Kongres_PTReh_streszczenia_1.pdf ccc Probably generalized joint hypermobility Joint hypermobility is a term to describe the capability of joints to move beyond normal limits. It can exist by itself or be a part of a more complex diagnosis. Those with joint hypermobility in a couple of joints (fewer than five) have localized joint hypermobility (LJH). Those of us with joint hypermobility in five or more joints are described as having generalized joint hypermobility (GJH). Unlike LJH, GJH is more often something we’re born with and possibly inherited, although acquired forms of GJH exist (training such as dance, widespread inflammatory or degenerative diseases of the joints, musculoskeletal tissues, and nerves, and hypothyroidism and other endocrine disorders). https://www.ehlers-danlos.com/what-is-hsd/ ccccccc Generalized joint laxity is commonly seen in healthy individuals who do not have complaints. Hypermobility that is not associated with systemic disease occurs in 4% to 13% of the population.4,5 Hypermobility diminishes as one ages, and it also appears to be related to sex and race.5 In general, women have greater joint laxity than men, and up to 5% of healthy women have symptomatic joint hypermobility compared with 0.6% of men.6 People of African, Asian, and Middle Eastern descent also have increased joint laxity. https://jaoa.org/article.aspx?articleid=2093276 |
