afterpart Explanation: Czyli tylna/rufowa część statku. To jest marynarski slang. Podobnie jak mówią "kardek" - pokład samochodowy promu, czy "Ankier na le goł" - przypotować kotwicę do rzucenia i tysiące innych takich :-) "The first torpedo hit in the afterpart of the ship, setting the engine room on fire, but the engineers were able to get to the boat deck, and stopped the engine from there.
