Jako że Sedex umożliwia współdzielenie informacji audytowych, konieczne jest ścisłe przestrzeganie przez firmy przesyłające audyt SMETA niniejszych wytycznych (WNP), ze szczególnym zapewnieniem, iż zgłoszone do systemu niezgodności zostały rozpoznane według przynajmniej Kodeksu Podstawowego ETI oraz prawa lokalnego.
