Portuguese term or phrase: agricultoras
I am translating a thesis, in which they describe the role of " mullheres agricultoras" in the economy. Throughout the document they say " agricultoras" .

They didn't say fazendeiras, so I am reluctant to use female farmer.

Could I say female Agricultural producer? or female agriculturist?
