Vehicle registration fees Explanation: https://www.vroomvroomvroom.com/ Prices Include The Following: Unlimited miles on your Car Rental unless otherwise stated Tax on Car Rental Car Rental Vehicle Registration Fees Car Rental Vehicle Recovery Fees Airport Tax on Car Rental (if applicable) One way fees (if applicable) Prices Do Not Include: Insurance (Click for more information) Extras such as Child Seats and GPS Petrol used during the rental period A cotação geralmente inclui: - IVA ou outro imposto local - Quilometragem ilimitada ou, se este não for o caso, a especificação do número de quilómetros/milhas incluídas, com o custo de cada quilómetro/milha extra - Suplemento de estação Premium (normalmente aeroporto e estação de comboios) - Suplemento de Circulação (Licence And Fee - LAF) - Responsabilidade Civil - Cobertura de Colisão e Danos (Collision Damage Waiver - CDW) - Cobertura de Roubo (Theft Waiver - TW) O CDW e o TW podem estar unidos, denominando-se Cobertura de Danos e Roubo (Loss Damage Waiver - LDW) em alguns países (incluindo Portugal). -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 43 mins (2017-11-07 16:26:33 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I don't know about Britain, but in the U.S. we pay the "registration fee" annually so that the vehicle can be driven around (hence "circulação" in PT). In the case of car rentals, I suppose it's one of their gimmicks to just charge more money from their customers, i.e. amortizing their costs of this vehicle registration and passing it along to the consumer. |
