Portuguese term or phrase: CNS
Hello all!
I am translating a marriage certificate and where the information for the Civil Registry is listed, below it is CNS: followed by a number. From what I researched, CNS in Brazil is the Confederação Nacional de Saúde, but I don't think this applies here. I understand this to be some sort of an identifier for each Civil Registry. Does anybody know for certain what this stands for? Thank you!
