Portuguese term or phrase: Traslada em seguida.
I'm looking for the meaning of this small sentence, located at the end of a declaração de residência, signed by a notary public.

The sentence is preceded by the names of the notary, clerk and followed by: "Eu (xxx) , Substituto da Tabeliã, subscrevo e assino em público e raso."

Thank you for your reply!

Best,
Jan

5 JUR Cópia fiel que o tabelião extrai do instrumento lavrado em seu livro de notas.

For your specific context as you described in your question.

In other cases it could also be called an official transcript.

After checking on another PT-EN legal dictionary I have here in PDF (but for some strange reason the author's name or publishing company is nowhere to be seen) I see these 2 entries:

trasladado em seguida certified copy made immediately
traslado ferry-flight; first certified copy
------------------------------------------------------

Perhaps there is a typo and your "declaração" should say "trasladaDA" ?
If it's "trasladada em seguida" then the correct translation according to this source should be:
CERTIFIED COPY MADE IMMEDIATELY

agree  Adrian MM.: Trasladado em seguida: Tradução em inglês Certified copy made immediately // Still grammatically & notarially feasible as 'WHEREUPON s/he (the Notary Public) does make a certified copy - which I was going to post as a sep. answer but too close to yours.

-> Thanks Adrian :) Yes, we may have a typo there.

neutral  Lara Barnett: "Immediately" would need restructuring here to be understood by English speakers.
